The Next 15 Minutes: Baby Moses

My wife Whitney and my son Daniel were on the couch reading a bedtime story while I was helping with bath time. There is a picture right over our couch in our living room from Whitney and I’s wedding day and he proceeded to ask Whitney if we had a wedding and she said yes and then he asked the question “Where were me and Sissy when y'all were getting married?” Whitney replied that they had not been born yet. Daniel asked “Was Baby Moses born then?” Perspective right? When Whitney said “Yes, he was born quite a bit before us.” and then he asked the question “What was Baby Moses favorite number?” and Whitney trying to guess said “maybe 40” because 40 just keeps kind of showing up. Daniel asked “Where was Baby Moses house?” she responded with “Egypt”. Perspective is a crazy thing, obviously to my wife and I Moses seems like a long time ago. To my son everything predating his four years on the Earth seems like a long time ago. Makes you think about how crazy time is. Just think about how far the human race has come in so many different advances. How about technological advances. I'm typing this on a awesome computer but nothing ever catches God by surprise! There is nothing that comes out of left field to him. He's always prepared. Not one of our problems is bigger than he is! There is nothing in the world that we can't take to him because he loves us. The Bible says that we should cast all my cares upon for he cares for us. For the next 15 minutes think about those who have come before you. Those who have blazed a trail to the faith that you now get to enjoy. We reap a lot of the fruits from their labor. If that person is still alive  you should let them know or in some ways show your gratitude to them.
